DT is an inspiring, thought provoking and practical subject, which the children at St Chad’s embrace with enthusiasm. With curiosity, imagination, and creativity, pupils design and make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts. They acquire a broad range of subject knowledge and draw upon other disciplines such as maths, science, engineering, computing and art. Children learn to take risks, and become resourceful, innovative, and enterprising learners.
